AACI Group is building AI-native insurance agencies and digital services to make insurance more accessible and affordable in catastrophe-prone regions. As climate change increases the frequency and severity of natural disasters, carriers are retreating from high-risk markets, leaving homeowners with fewer and more expensive options. AACI combines risk data, loss prevention, and innovative product delivery to address this gap.
You will serve as Staff Product Manager, reporting directly to the CEO, and own the end-to-end experience for AACI's insurance agencies and loss prevention services. This is a high-autonomy role requiring you to balance stakeholder needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the full product lifecycle across concurrent projects spanning customer-facing experiences, internal operations tooling, and automation/integration suites
- Use AI-assisted tools (Claude, Replit, Lovable, etc.) to rapidly prototype and validate concepts without requiring engineering resources
- Maintain clear documentation to keep all stakeholders aligned on what is being built, why, and when
- Define success metrics and ensure accountability across teams
- Blend quantitative data analysis with qualitative user feedback to inform product decisions
- Collaborate across the business to align product development with strategic objectives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and data security best practices
Success in the first 6 months means shipping the right products at the right time to deliver a differentiated experience, establishing quantifiable product health metrics, building strong relationships with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, and developing a clear vision for the next 6-12 months.
The role requires someone who can own entire product areas autonomously, is a builder at heart, responds to obstacles with action, is comfortable adopting and incorporating AI technology into products, and can adapt to shifting priorities with ease. You will help translate the company's ambitious mission into usable, impactful technology while the organization scales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 7+ years of product management experience in software or digital services, with at least 2 years in a startup environment
- Strong preference for candidates with experience building both operational and consumer-facing products, and who have launched products incorporating AI/ML technologies
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and complex roadmaps with quantifiable results impacting top or bottom line
- Ability to both "build the right product" (critical & strategic thinking) and "build the product right" (technical & detailed execution with meaningful, measurable results)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to cultivate influence across all key stakeholders
- Comfort seeking out and leveraging data to make informed decisions
- Experience prototyping and building lightweight MVPs using AI tooling
