Salary: USD 180,000 - 210,000 / annual
Traba is building an AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain, starting with contingent labor and expanding into broader operational workflows. The company is backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
You will join as a founding member of the Agents team to build the next layer of Traba's product—an agentic platform that synthesizes data from their marketplace and operates autonomously within customers' supply chain workflows. This is a true 0-to-1 product role at the frontier of applied AI, where you'll design and ship production agents that understand context, reason through ambiguity, make decisions, and execute work on behalf of users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and steward product strategy for Traba's AI agent platform
- Solve complex customer problems by balancing user needs, technical constraints, and evolving AI capabilities
- Write detailed product requirements and partner deeply with product engineers and ML teams
- Rapidly validate and prototype ideas alongside customers and design partners
- Design agent systems that reason through workflows, orchestrate tools, maintain context, and execute meaningful work
- Define product behavior, evaluation systems, and quality frameworks that improve reliability and performance
- Use data to uncover patterns and answer key product and system questions
- Evolve the AI product portfolio with deep understanding of model capabilities and system architecture
- Visualize and communicate complex concepts from system behavior to user experiences and business impact
- Socialize work across all levels and departments while synthesizing diverse stakeholder feedback
You will work directly with founders, product engineers, ML teams, and early design partners. This role reports to the VP of Product. The position requires five days per week in-office presence in New York City or San Francisco to support real-time decision-making and creative problem-solving.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Evidence of launching products from scratch and driving meaningful customer outcomes
- Experience building AI-native products or customer-facing agent systems (not just AI features, copilots, chat interfaces, or lightweight LLM integrations)
- Strong technical abilities with the ability to work deeply with engineering and ML teams
- Ability to read evaluations, reason through system performance, and prototype ideas
- Experience operating in highly ambiguous startup environments with fast iteration cycles
- Deep familiarity with AI tools and hands-on experience building with modern AI systems
- Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
- Strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
- Comfort operating alongside ML engineers as peers; understanding of evaluations and system tradeoffs
- Experience with customer-embedded product development or forward-deployed environments highly valued
