As a Staff Product Engineer, you will be a technical leader within the engineering organization, contributing to both backend and frontend systems while mentoring other engineers. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, researchers, and data analysts to shape technical strategy and architecture. Key responsibilities include: - Contributing to technical architecture as the platform scales to handle requests from thousands of customer organizations - Balancing agility with scalability and availability through continuous deployment and feature-flagged releases - Participating in all phases of software development: ideation, prototyping, design, and implementation - Leading and mentoring engineers, with 2+ years of experience as a primary technical leader - Raising standards for technical excellence, performance, reliability, and operational excellence - Actively participating in hiring and career development You should have significant SaaS product experience, deep knowledge of high-level programming languages (Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.), experience with distributed systems, and a proven track record of delivering customer value. You'll work in a pragmatic, cross-disciplinary environment with a strong product mindset. Fin operates a hybrid policy requiring at least three days per week in the London office.
