As a Staff Platform Engineer on the Platform Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure and reliability abstractions that enable all engineering teams to ship faster and safer. Your mission is to improve reliability, boost performance, and build a rock-solid platform that scales with the company's growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build core infrastructure and reliability abstractions used across all engineering teams
- Partner with all teams to structure their SRE efforts, including observability, alerting, fault tolerance, and reliability practices
- Proactively monitor infrastructure and develop it for hyperscale and reliability
- Contribute to incident response and lead post-incident learning initiatives
- Work primarily with Pulumi on Azure infrastructure, with additional experience deploying AI workloads on AWS and GCP

REQUIREMENTS:
- Years of experience as a backend engineer with solid infrastructure, observability, and monitoring expertise
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Pulumi (preferred) or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools (AWS CDK, Terraform)
- Ability to "get stuff done" independently and proactively solve burning problems
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments where answers aren't always clear and processes are minimal
