Greenlight is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to lead offensive security strategy and execution across the organization's consumer digital platforms, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, internal corporate environments, and emerging hardware device lines.
In this role, you will drive the long-term technical vision for offensive security, designing and executing complex red teaming exercises and multi-stage adversary simulations to validate defenses. You'll conduct deep-dive vulnerability research into high-risk areas, identifying and prioritizing security gaps before they can be exploited. A key responsibility is championing a security-minded development culture across the R&D organization, embedding security best practices into the development lifecycle and mentoring engineers on secure coding principles.
You will establish automated security guardrails and self-healing infrastructure within Greenlight's fintech environment, reducing manual security overhead and enabling rapid response to emerging threats. This is a company-wide technical leadership role where you'll influence security architecture decisions, guide the security team's technical direction, and collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to embed security into every layer of the platform.
