Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the next generation of energy-efficient compute platforms. The Staff Network Production Engineer will own the design, implementation, and 24/7 operation of Crusoe's global network infrastructure supporting high-performance compute (HPC) clusters with GPUs across edge, backbone, and data center environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operation, security, and scalability of the global network. Key responsibilities include monitoring network performance and conducting advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents; executing network changes across datacenters, backbone, and edge infrastructure to implement next-generation designs and improve reliability; managing and optimizing the entire Crusoe network (frontend, backend, backbone, edge, public cloud connectivity); collaborating with Network Engineering and cross-functional teams to align network capabilities with business needs; leading operational excellence initiatives by developing monitoring, alerting, and systems to ensure high availability; mentoring network engineers and establishing best practices for incident response and operational readiness; managing vendor relationships and contracts for network services and equipment; and providing visibility into network health through detailed metrics and performance analysis.
You will be part of a 24/7 on-call support rotation for the Crusoe network. This is a hands-on, self-directed role requiring excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on solving complex problems at scale. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives on cutting-edge technologies, and can navigate ambiguity while maintaining operational excellence.
