Salary: USD 160,000 - 210,000 / annual
Robust AI is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced, early-stage robotics startup founded in 2019 by veterans in robotics, AI, and business. In this role, you will work with a small, collaborative engineering team to design, build, and test subsystems for next-generation warehouse robotic systems. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering—from concept and design through deployment—working on robots that are smart, collaborative, robust, safe, flexible, and genuinely autonomous.
You will partner closely with other engineers to develop subsystems that enable large-scale robot deployment in warehouse environments. This is an ideal role for someone excited about seeing robotics technology deployed at scale and comfortable thriving in an early-stage startup environment where adaptability and rapid iteration are essential. The team values diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and you will contribute to redefining the foundation of modern robotics.
The base pay range is $160,000–$210,000, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
