As Staff Marketing Data Analyst, you will be the dedicated analytics partner to the Marketing organization, driving data-informed decision-making across customer acquisition, marketing efficiency, and business growth. This is a senior individual contributor role with company-wide analytical scope—you will independently own complex analyses and measurement frameworks without direct people-management responsibility, but will influence senior stakeholders and raise the analytical bar across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and other teams to improve data quality, align measurement approaches, and ensure trusted data foundations.
- Lead actionable deep-dive analyses optimizing customer acquisition, channel performance, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI.
- Own and advance multi-touch attribution (MTA), marketing mix modeling (MMM), and other measurement frameworks to evaluate ROI across paid media, organic, and other channels.
- Design and scale experimentation approaches, including A/B testing and incrementality studies, to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Define, monitor, and interpret core marketing KPIs (CAC, LTV, campaign ROI) to assess marketing efficiency and growth.
- Serve as strategic thought partner to Marketing leaders, challenging assumptions and translating complex findings into clear recommendations and business actions.
- Coach peers on marketing analytics methods and decision-making, raising measurement standards across the team.
The company expects in-office presence five days per week to foster collaboration and culture, though flexibility is available when circumstances require.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, data analytics, or related quantitative field, with demonstrated ownership of complex analytical work.
- Master's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field.
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or similar analytical programming language.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Deep understanding of marketing data, measurement, experimentation, and performance analysis, with demonstrated ability to independently translate insights into business action.
- Experience with paid media and acquisition channels, including channel performance metrics and measurement approaches.
- Hands-on knowledge of mobile app marketing analytics and MMPs; AppsFlyer and SSOT experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence senior Marketing partners and drive decisions through data without formal authority.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and analytics workflows (Snowflake, AWS, dbt, or similar).
