Archer Technologies is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for sustainable air mobility. We seek a highly experienced Staff IT Systems Engineer to lead and support our Systems Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, and Digital Workplace functions, delivering world-class technology experiences and driving operational excellence as the company scales.
In this role, you will contribute to strategic roadmaps, OKRs, and capacity planning across core IT pillars including Enterprise User Services, Systems, Endpoint, and Digital Workplace. You'll administer and ensure reliability of critical IT infrastructure—VDI, identity management, collaboration platforms, SaaS systems, directory services, and authentication mechanisms. You'll drive architecture and design decisions to ensure scalable, secure configurations that support rapid growth.
Key responsibilities include executing device management strategies across macOS, Windows, and mobile platforms; administering collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Miro, Notion, and Atlassian; implementing IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks; and driving automation and integration initiatives to reduce friction across teams. You'll partner closely with Security, Engineering, and Facilities teams to maintain a secure and productive environment.
Required qualifications include a B.S. in Computer Science or related IT/Engineering discipline, 3+ years of relevant IT experience, hands-on familiarity with identity management platforms (Okta/Entra), endpoint management tools, and core SaaS systems. Deep Windows expertise is essential—including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (certifications a plus). You must have experience building and scaling IT systems in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments, with excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience in engineering-driven, hybrid, or multi-site organizations; supporting executive teams or high-velocity engineering groups; automation and workflow orchestration; and exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC2, FedRAMP, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
