As Staff Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will serve as the technical DRI (directly responsible individual) for the Infrastructure & Security group, owning the architecture, setting technical standards, and making key technical decisions across infrastructure, DevOps, and security engineering. You will own the cloud platform end-to-end, including infrastructure reliability, CI/CD and delivery automation, and infrastructure-as-code implementations.
Key responsibilities include driving architectural simplification by reducing the surface area the team defends and maintains, retiring legacy and unused systems, and establishing best practices for cloud operations. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that supports rapid business growth.
This role is based in Chicago with hybrid flexibility (minimum three days per week in office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). You'll be part of a values-driven organization focused on client obsession, integrity, empathy, and continuous growth. The team emphasizes transparency, ownership, and collaborative problem-solving.
