Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to analyze and extract insights from legal agreements. The company serves enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify, and recently completed a Series B funding round with 800% YoY growth.
As Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the foundation of Ivo's entire platform. You'll design and operate multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure with robust failover and disaster recovery. Your responsibilities include building internal tooling for cluster management and environment provisioning, designing workload isolation strategies that balance cost and performance for ML and API traffic, and implementing enterprise-grade security (RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, data residency, audit trails).
You'll define meaningful SLOs, own the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, Pulumi), maintain Docker environments across dev/staging/prod, and debug end-to-end across the stack when issues arise. You'll lead incident response, write actionable postmortems, and build observability systems that surface problems before customers report them. The role emphasizes automation, reducing toil, and translating compliance requirements into infrastructure constraints.
This is not a "keep the lights on" role—you'll be deeply embedded in the engineering team, pushing infrastructure boundaries, and staying engaged with the company's AI/LLM innovations. You should have 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience, deep Kubernetes expertise, strong IaC and CI/CD skills, and the ability to think systematically about failure modes and distributed systems.
