Clutch is seeking a Staff Implementation Engineer to lead complex customer implementations while strengthening delivery processes across the Professional Services team. You will directly own 2-3 of the company's largest and most strategic customer implementations, managing end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering through go-live for credit union clients.
Beyond hands-on delivery, you'll serve as a technical leader and force multiplier for the team. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to triage implementation issues, translate customer problems into well-scoped work, and drive resolution across team boundaries. You'll identify bottlenecks in the delivery process and design repeatable tooling, standards, and workflows that help the entire team operate more efficiently.
Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end delivery for strategic implementations; leading cross-functional triage of complex issues; serving as the team's escalation resource for challenging technical problems; increasing implementation efficiency through process and tooling improvements; feeding implementation learnings back to Product to shape the roadmap; mentoring teammates; and exploring how AI can expand the team's capabilities.
You'll work closely with Product and Engineering daily—implementation feedback directly shapes what gets built next. The role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, product development, and team enablement, requiring both deep technical ability and strong communication skills.
Within 3 months, you'll complete onboarding and take ownership of your first implementation. By 6 months, you'll lead 2-3 large implementations confidently and ship at least one process improvement. Within 9-12 months, you'll own delivery outcomes at the team level, shaping systems and standards that define how Clutch delivers.
