Tenstorrent is a fast-growing AI and semiconductor company building cutting-edge RISC-V CPU and AI platform technology. As a Staff HR Business Partner, you will work directly with senior leaders (VP-level and above) across North America on the people side of rapid growth: organizational design, leveling frameworks, performance management, calibration cycles, sensitive employee matters, and strategic conversations that shape how the company scales. You'll join a small, lean HRBP team with no specialist layers behind it. This is a hands-on role where you own problems end-to-end—running investigations, leading reorgs, managing sensitive exits, and building the HR function's systems and practices as the company grows. You'll be expected to diagnose root causes of people problems (missing roles, unclear decision rights, unowned handoffs), help leaders adapt their operating model as the company scales, make fair and defensible org design and promotion decisions, and facilitate cross-org alignment when leaders have competing priorities. The role offers exposure to how a complex technical company operates across silicon, software, supply chain, and go-to-market. You'll have real influence over how the People function scales and will partner with leaders through multiple growth stages, where past practices often need to evolve. The posting notes that candidates will be assessed for appropriate level during interviews, and offers may differ from the posted level. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience as an HRBP partnering directly with VP-level leaders and supporting a full function or large organization, ideally at a company with several hundred to a few thousand employees - Hands-on track record: you have personally run investigations, calibration cycles, reorganizations, and sensitive employee exits rather than delegating to specialist teams - Ability to deliver difficult feedback to senior leaders and remain engaged to help them act on it - Curiosity about technical work; ability to understand what client organizations build and why it's challenging, with that understanding informing people decisions - Experience supporting sales, go-to-market, or operations teams is a plus
