You will join the Time and Attendance team within the Workforce Management department as a Staff Software Engineer. This role focuses on building innovative solutions for employee time tracking and payroll integration at global scale. The Time and Attendance products handle some of Rippling's highest QPS endpoints and are critical to how customers operate worldwide.
As a technical leader, you will own the entire lifecycle of highly available, reliable, and scalable systems. Your responsibilities include architectural design, hands-on backend development, operational excellence, and technical mentorship for Senior and earlier-career engineers. You'll work on a fast-moving team with significant company-wide impact, shaping the future of the product suite and bringing new AI-driven solutions to market.
Key focus areas include enabling employees to report, review, and submit time entries reliably at any time, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and scaling infrastructure to support global operations.
