As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you'll drive the development of high-performance web and desktop applications with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and real-time communication. You'll work across the full stack—primarily React, TypeScript, and Tauri—collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust software solutions.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing web and desktop applications, architecting complex state management solutions for large-scale systems, and implementing efficient data processing and caching strategies. You'll establish CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, write testable code with comprehensive test coverage, and participate in code reviews to maintain engineering excellence. A critical part of this role is providing technical mentorship to engineers, leading architectural discussions, and contributing to long-term technical strategy aligned with business goals.
You'll troubleshoot production issues, stay current with emerging technologies, and propose architectural improvements. The role emphasizes AI-native engineering practices including agentic workflows, strong architectural boundaries, and test-driven delivery.
Required qualifications include 7+ years of professional JavaScript or TypeScript development, strong proficiency in building scalable applications, expertise in HTML/CSS/SCSS, and experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, MQTT). You should have deep expertise in state management patterns (Redux, Zustand), unit and E2E testing frameworks (Cypress), relational and non-relational databases, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Rust and Python for backend integration is beneficial. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and proven experience leading technical initiatives and driving engineering best practices across teams.
