Salary: USD 193,000 - 227,000 / annual
Linktree is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to lead Arbor, the company's design system and shared frontend platform. In this role, you'll own the technical direction, architecture, and component APIs that power product development across the organization. You'll balance hands-on frontend engineering with strategic partnership across Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining the shared component library, design tokens, theming, and accessibility standards; setting the technical bar for frontend architecture and code quality; defining Arbor's platform strategy; managing versioning, breaking changes, and adoption across teams; leading complex cross-team technical initiatives from conception through rollout; and mentoring engineers across the organization to raise overall technical craft.
You'll operate with significant autonomy and serve as a key voice in how Linktree's frontend evolves to support fast, reliable product development at scale. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise combined with strong cross-functional influence and communication skills.
