You will lead a five-person forward-deployed team embedded at a client health system site. In this high-impact role, you'll design, build, and optimize bespoke AI Operational Assistant workflows using large language models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA) and agentic frameworks. You'll work at the intersection of technology and healthcare operations, directly influencing how AI transforms hospital workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop deep understanding of client context and Qventus capabilities to identify high-leverage opportunities for rapid AI-powered impact
• Design and execute bespoke AI Operational Assistant use cases, including LLM-based conversational systems with agentic frameworks and tools
• Apply conversation modeling techniques (state machines, decision trees, graph-based flows) and integrate bots with APIs, CRMs, and enterprise systems
• Continuously tune and optimize AI agents using real user data; monitor and resolve agent failures and performance issues
• Develop and run unit, regression, and A/B tests to ensure conversational performance
• Implement real-time monitoring, analytics, and logging to drive performance insights
• Collaborate with Qventus R&D leadership, architects, engineers, data scientists, and client operational/IT teams to define and refine product requirements
• Mentor and support cross-functional teammates on the forward-deployed client team
• Document conversation logic, prompt structures, and decision workflows for scalability
• Travel to client sites as needed (expected 25–50%)
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in product management or solution architect roles with proven track record
• Hands-on experience with agentic design and prompt engineering/architecture
• Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages
• Expert-level knowledge of emerging LLM technologies
• Strong communicator with ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
• High customer empathy and passion for solving meaningful, real-world problems
• Self-starter confident in troubleshooting complex systems independently
• Ability to work with high autonomy and responsibility in rapidly changing environments with dynamic objectives
• Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical individuals
Bonus qualifications:
• Experience with voice-enabled conversational AI systems
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• Experience applying knowledge graphs in AI agent workflows
• Prior experience building AI agents/automated workflows in healthcare or regulated industries
• Background in healthcare operations, medicine, or healthcare finance
