Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy-first platform to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to solve the power bottleneck constraining AI compute abundance. You will serve as the senior technology owner for Crusoe Manufacturing's Engineering Systems domain, overseeing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, CAD integration, and engineering data management. This is a strategic domain-ownership role, not a support function. You will own the technology strategy across PLM and adjacent engineering platforms, including multi-year roadmap planning, build-vs-buy decisions, and integration architecture. Key responsibilities include: - Administer the PLM platform end-to-end: configuration, lifecycle workflows, user/license management, access controls, availability, performance, and security. - Own the item/part master and part-numbering framework, ensuring consistent, high-quality product data. - Configure and govern engineering and manufacturing bills of materials (EBOM/MBOM), including transformation logic and downstream ERP/production integration. - Administer engineering change management (ECR/ECN/ECO) workflows with disciplined, auditable change control. - Own and maintain PLM-to-ERP integration for item, BOM, and change data, monitoring sync health and troubleshooting failures. - Manage CAD data integration (mechanical and electrical), including check-in/check-out, file relationships, and released-data control. - Lead release upgrades and patches, including impact assessment, regression testing, and promotion. - Serve as senior technology partner to Engineering, Production, Procurement, Inventory, Quality, and Accounting leadership, translating business strategy into technology direction. - Identify and recommend process and configuration improvements driving engineering efficiency and data quality. - Own the PLM ticket queue, tracking and resolving system issues, bugs, access requests, and change requests per SLAs. - Drive the multi-year technology roadmap for Engineering Systems, including platform modernization and build-vs-buy evaluations. - Mentor less-senior administrators and share institutional platform knowledge across the Enterprise Technology team. - Proactively monitor data quality, execute cleansing and reconciliation processes, and maintain system documentation. - Design and deliver training content for engineering and manufacturing users. - Maintain relevant PLM professional certifications. You bring 8+ years of enterprise systems administration, business systems, PLM, or engineering-data experience, with a demonstrated track record of owning a platform domain end-to-end and driving multi-year technology roadmaps. You combine deep engineering-systems domain expertise with a strategic, process-oriented mindset and strong communication skills to translate requirements into reliable, well-documented solutions.
