Fin is an AI Customer Agent company transforming customer support through AI-powered solutions. As Staff Engineer for Web Platform, you will own the technical architecture and long-term strategy for Fin's web properties (fin.ai and related sites), which serve as critical growth levers for storytelling, brand, experimentation, and product discovery.
You will act as the technical leader across marketing and growth web surfaces, partnering with marketing, analytics, design, data science, and engineering teams. Your responsibilities include: owning and evolving the web platform architecture; defining long-term technical strategy focused on scalability, performance, developer productivity, observability, and reliability; designing and implementing MarTech systems for event tracking, attribution, funnel reporting, and A/B testing infrastructure; mentoring engineers across the organization on architecture and best practices; setting standards for technical excellence; and providing technical leadership to engineering managers, product managers, and executives.
You will contribute hands-on to the codebase, leading by example and unblocking key projects. This role requires deep expertise in Next.js and React, headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), AWS/CloudFront/S3, and experimentation infrastructure. You should have 8+ years of software engineering experience in high-scale growth environments, a proven track record of technical leadership across multiple teams, strong web analytics and data instrumentation knowledge, and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills. A mentorship mindset and commitment to raising engineering excellence are essential.
