As a Staff Engineer for Mechanical & Actuated Systems, you will lead the mechanical design and development of Shield AI's autonomous UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) products. Your responsibilities include architecting new products, performing detailed design of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, and leveraging best-in-class design and analysis tools. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners throughout the prototype, test, and production release phases, ensuring product features meet performance, schedule, and reliability goals.
This is a technical leadership role where you will guide mechanical engineering efforts on mission-critical autonomous aircraft systems. You'll work on cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology at the intersection of mechanical engineering, controls, and AI.
