Shield AI is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Digital Factory initiative, architecting and deploying the digital systems, connected infrastructure, and AI-enabled tools that power autonomous aircraft production. This is a strategic technical leadership role at the intersection of manufacturing, software, data, automation, and artificial intelligence.
You will define and implement the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), deploy AI-powered manufacturing solutions, and establish the foundational digital infrastructure for an AI-native manufacturing ecosystem. The role involves designing connected factory systems, integrating autonomous production workflows, and leveraging data and machine learning to optimize aircraft manufacturing at scale.
