Reltio, an SAP Company, is seeking a Staff Engineer to join its Core Platform development team. You will drive the design and delivery of features for Reltio's Context Intelligence Platform, a cloud-native SaaS solution that harmonizes and unifies fragmented enterprise data to enable AI agents and systems to operate at scale.
In this role, you will own significant technical scope across the Master Data Management (MDM) platform. You will work closely with Product Management to define roadmaps with clear goals and KPIs, lead the design and development of complex features, and provide thought leadership across cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Documentation. You will present architectural designs in a global forum of architects and actively shape the technical direction of your work area and the broader product.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality features with a customer-first mindset, championing engineering excellence through improved code coverage and review processes, and mentoring junior team members. You will tackle ambiguous, complex problems with a bias for action, collaborate closely with architects on system design, and ensure thorough testing strategies, robust deployments, and clear documentation. Effective communication with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential.
You must have 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise products, with 4+ years specifically building large-scale distributed data systems in Java and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You need a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals—algorithms, data structures, software design, and distributed systems architecture. A proven track record of leading engineering projects, mentoring teams, and driving customer adoption is required. Experience with managed cloud databases is essential.
Nice-to-have skills include NoSQL databases (Cassandra), queue services (SQS), Kubernetes, cloud security principles, big data technologies, and a track record of driving customer focus for SaaS products.
