Shield AI is seeking a Staff Engineer for Advanced Manufacturing to lead critical manufacturing initiatives across multiple defense and aerospace programs. In this role, you will take ownership of manufacturing processes with responsibility for increasing throughput, reducing costs, and scaling operations to support next-generation production. You'll be instrumental in building infrastructure for a new production line supporting advanced jet aircraft, including selecting and deploying capital equipment, implementing hardware and software tools, and establishing robust production systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional manufacturing initiatives spanning engineering, supply chain, and production teams
- Designing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems at factory scale
