CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff EMC/EMI Engineer to join its aerospace and defense engineering team in Melbourne, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that phased array communication systems meet all electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, test, and systems engineering to develop, analyze, and implement EMI/EMC control strategies. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the integrity and performance of satellite, UAV, launch vehicle, and airborne platform communication systems in harsh operational environments. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in EMI/EMC engineering, with a strong track record of solving complex electromagnetic compatibility challenges in aerospace or defense applications. You will be expected to guide and mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and drive technical excellence across EMI/EMC initiatives. Your work will directly impact the reliability and regulatory compliance of next-generation space and airborne systems. CesiumAstro operates in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where you will have hands-on involvement in product development while also providing strategic technical leadership.
