CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. We develop and pioneer out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge embedded systems that power next-generation space and airborne communication technologies. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where you will have the opportunity to learn, develop, and engage across the organization.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for critical aerospace and defense applications. This role offers autonomous work with significant technical scope and the opportunity to mentor and guide other engineers on the team.
The ideal candidate is passionate, collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking, with deep expertise in embedded systems development. You will work on challenging problems at the intersection of software engineering and aerospace technology.
