CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join the Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team. This role offers full-stack hardware development for complex modules and small systems used in satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other aerospace platforms.
You will work across the entire product lifecycle—from concept development through detailed design, analysis, layout, build, test, and delivery—with hands-on involvement at each phase. The position introduces technical leadership opportunities, including responsibility for guiding small teams of hardware engineers developing new products and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing leading-edge electronics for high-reliability space and airborne applications
- Conducting full-stack hardware development requiring both breadth and depth of technical knowledge
- Presenting engineering design review materials to customers and executive leadership
- Maintaining high levels of technical rigor while operating with startup agility
- Contributing directly to product success and business impact
The ideal candidate brings strong electrical engineering expertise in mixed-signal and digital electronics, experience with aerospace or high-reliability systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, cross-functional startup environment where your work directly influences company success.
