As Staff DevOps Engineer (Platform), you will own and evolve the entire software development lifecycle infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer velocity. Key responsibilities include:
• SDLC Infrastructure Ownership: Design and maintain CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, ensuring high reliability and fast developer iteration cycles.
• Mobile Release Automation: Build and optimize automated release workflows for iOS, Android, and Chrome, including binary building, signing, distribution, and app store submission management.
• End-to-End Test Automation: Oversee and enhance automated testing across mobile and web platforms using Maestro and Playwright, ensuring high-confidence releases.
• CI/CD Optimization: Continuously improve pipeline performance, reliability, and observability to support rapid, secure deployments.
• Developer Experience: Partner with engineering teams to improve SDLC tooling, preview environments (e.g., Appetize), and overall developer workflows.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure build, release, and deployment systems meet the stringent security and compliance requirements of a financial product.
• Technical Leadership: Set standards and drive improvements across build, test, release, and deployment workflows, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
Required qualifications: 8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Systems Engineering at senior/staff level. Strong expertise with AWS, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi). Proven experience supporting production mobile CI/CD and release infrastructure for iOS and Android. Background in fintech or financial services with meaningful security/compliance requirements. Strong track record of improving developer workflows and cross-team collaboration.
Nice-to-have: React Native/Expo experience, mobile preview environments, Appetize familiarity, or blockchain/crypto background.
