Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to automate contract review and analysis for enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify. The company recently raised Series B and has grown 800% in the past 12 months.
As a Staff DevOps Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will own the foundation that powers Ivo's entire platform. Each customer receives an isolated environment with containerized infrastructure, databases, and VPCs. You'll be responsible for ensuring the system meets SLAs even when cloud providers have incidents or regions go down.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining Docker-based environments across dev, staging, and production
- Owning deployment and release pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Managing infrastructure as code with Pulumi
- Supporting backend services (APIs, workers, jobs) and frontend applications
- Debugging issues across the full stack: infrastructure, backend, and frontend
- Improving developer experience through faster builds and cleaner environments
- Defining and improving CI/CD workflows
- Automating repetitive processes
You'll need a minimum of 7 years of experience with strong expertise in DevOps and infrastructure, plus some full-stack exposure. Hands-on experience with Pulumi (or Terraform), Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Strong debugging skills and the ability to trace problems across distributed systems are essential.
This is not a "keep the lights on" role—you'll be building the systems that keep the company running while working alongside a team of engineers who are excited about pushing the frontiers of LLM technology. The company values pragmatism, resourcefulness, and bias toward action. Experience in a startup environment is preferred but not required.
