Salary: USD 249,000 - 405,000 / annual
Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to automate contract review and analysis for enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify. The company recently completed Series B funding and has grown 800% over the past 12 months.
As Staff DevOps Engineer, you'll lead infrastructure initiatives for Ivo's platform. The role involves building and maintaining Docker-based environments across development, staging, and production. You'll own deployment and release pipelines using GitHub Actions, manage infrastructure as code with Pulumi, and support both backend services (APIs, workers, jobs) and frontend applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining isolated customer environments (containers, databases, VPCs)
- Improving deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Debugging issues across the full stack (infrastructure, backend, frontend)
- Enhancing developer experience through faster builds and cleaner environments
- Automating repetitive processes
- Supporting SLA commitments despite cloud provider incidents and regional outages
You'll need minimum 7 years of DevOps/infrastructure experience with hands-on expertise in Pulumi (or Terraform), Docker, containerization, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging skills and some full-stack exposure are essential. This is not a "keep the lights on" role—you'll architect systems that enable the company's growth.
Ideal candidates are relentlessly resourceful, have a bias toward action, and thrive in startup environments. Experience with LLMs is a plus.
