You will join as a Staff Corporate Security Engineer, owning the security of Turing's internal attack surface—the devices, identities, SaaS applications, and corporate network that employees depend on daily. This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll set technical direction for corporate security, build systems and automation that make security the default, and raise the bar for workforce protection while maintaining a smooth employee experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning endpoint security across macOS, Windows, and Linux: hardening, EDR deployment, patching, and device compliance via MDM
- Designing and operating identity and access architecture: SSO, MFA, conditional access, and least-privilege access to corporate systems and SaaS
- Driving zero-trust strategy for corporate access to reduce reliance on network perimeter
- Securing the SaaS estate through configuration hardening, monitoring, and automated detection of risky changes
- Building automation and tooling to scale corporate security: provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, and self-service guardrails
- Partnering with IT and Detection & Response teams to instrument corporate telemetry and surface high-signal detections for phishing, account compromise, and device threats
- Leading corporate security incident response for phishing, account takeover, and endpoint incidents, then building systems to prevent recurrence
- Setting standards and mentoring engineers across IT and security teams
At the Staff level, your impact extends beyond systems you personally build. You'll set corporate security strategy, identify highest-leverage risks to the workforce, elevate engineers around you, and materially harden the internal attack surface.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in security engineering with real depth in corporate/enterprise security
- Strong hands-on experience with endpoint security and management (EDR, MDM) across macOS and Windows
- Deep expertise in identity and access management: SSO, MFA, SAML/OIDC, and modern IdPs (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace)
- Experience securing SaaS environments and driving zero-trust access
- Strong software/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar) to automate security at scale
- Ability to balance strong security with good employee experience and lead cross-team initiatives
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with detection engineering for corporate telemetry
- Familiarity with device management tooling and osquery-style fleet visibility
- Background responding to phishing and account compromise at scale
- Experience securing a fast-growing, remote-friendly workforce
