CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Component Engineer to join its product development team. In this role, you will lead critical electronics engineering efforts for satellite, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, including parts and component selection, qualification, failure root-cause analysis, standardization, vendor evaluations, and performance verification. You will be a key technical leader responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components across the company's space and airborne platforms. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in EEE components engineering specifically for commercial space applications. You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional startup environment where hands-on technical work is valued alongside strategic leadership.
