Ripple is seeking a Staff Cloud Architect to lead the infrastructure and platform development for GTreasury, a world-class corporate treasury solution acquired by Ripple in 2025. GTreasury brings 40+ years of experience supporting the world's largest and most sophisticated companies, and this role is critical to integrating its treasury command center into Ripple's technology stack.
You will own the design, scaling, and maintenance of enterprise-grade infrastructure powering the reconciliation application used by finance professionals globally. Your responsibilities include building and operating large-scale distributed systems, working cross-functionally with technical teams on infrastructure design and continuous improvement, and serving as a technical domain leader who mentors engineers and drives delivery of critical features.
You will also champion engineering excellence by implementing standard methodologies for architecture, coding, testing, and deployment across the organization.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure, with 4+ years as a technical lead mentoring engineers. You need 5+ years with AWS and Kubernetes, deep expertise in Linux and Windows server environments, and proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell). Experience with data infrastructure (Spark, MSSQL), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and building systems for high-volume transactional workloads—ideally in finance—is essential. Cybersecurity experience is a plus. You should have a track record of building scalable, available, and secure infrastructure using Agile practices, work collaboratively with diverse teams, and hold a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
