PhysicsX is a deep-tech company building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing across advanced industries including Aerospace & Defense, Materials, Energy, Semiconductors, and Automotive. The company enables high-fidelity, multi-physics simulation through AI inference across the entire engineering lifecycle, unlocking optimization and automation in design, manufacturing, and operations.
You will join a focused, stream-aligned cross-functional team (backend, frontend, design) building a platform used by Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Simulation Engineers to create, train, and deploy physics-informed models. You'll take ownership of work from implementation to production, ensuring quality, scalability, and observability at every step.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building core platform infrastructure for model creation, training, and deployment
- Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams empowered to make implementation decisions
- Gathering and leveraging domain knowledge from end users (Data Scientists and Simulation Engineers)
- Owning the full lifecycle: implementation, testing, containerization, CI/CD, authentication/authorization, telemetry, observability, and monitoring
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency in both Python and Go
- Working understanding of event-driven messaging systems (NATS, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Professional or personal experience developing applications for Kubernetes
- Strong collaborative and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Passion for software engineering craft and best practices
Preferred: CKAD certification (not required)
