Nutanix is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer III to join its enterprise support team in Pune, India. This hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) focuses on delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring service reliability for Nutanix's cloud infrastructure platform.
You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies, working directly with customers to ensure high satisfaction. Key responsibilities include collaborating with product development teams to identify defects and enhance serviceability, analyzing customer data to mitigate risks and improve product reliability, and mentoring junior team members in a growth-oriented culture.
The role requires deep expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi preferred), layer 2/3 networking, Linux systems administration, DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise storage. You'll develop and maintain internal and external knowledge bases, gather customer feedback to drive product improvements, and provide rotational support coverage during weekdays and off-hours as needed.
You'll report to the Sr. Manager of Worldwide Support, who emphasizes collaboration, customer-centricity, and team development.
