Nutanix is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join its enterprise support team in Pune. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers, working directly with their infrastructure to ensure high satisfaction. You'll collaborate with product developers to identify defects and improve serviceability, analyze customer data to enhance product reliability, and partner with technology allies (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft) for ecosystem improvements. A key part of the role involves mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. You'll also contribute to and expand internal and external knowledge bases, champion customer feedback for product enhancements, and provide rotational support coverage during weekdays and off-hours as needed.
The team is dynamic and collaborative, emphasizing innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning. You'll report to the Manager, Worldwide Support, who leads with a customer-centric, supportive approach. The role does not require travel, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while delivering outstanding support.
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering or similar roles
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting Virtualization (preferably VMware ESXi), Networking (layer 2/3), Linux Systems, DevOps, and Cloud technologies
- Proficient in written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration
- Experience resolving complex technical issues directly with customers
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- Customer-driven mindset with focus on high-quality support
- Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft technologies
- Ability to develop tools and contribute to knowledge bases
