EVERSANA is a global commercialization services company serving the life sciences industry with 6,000+ employees and 670+ clients ranging from biotech startups to established pharmaceutical companies. The Sr. Training Manager will develop, deliver, execute, and manage comprehensive training programs for pharmaceutical clients, requiring deep understanding of disease states, market landscapes, and product-specific materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support development of training materials (slide presentations, workshops, reference guides, job aids, modules) and manage them through legal, regulatory, and medical review
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on dynamic learning material implementation
- Support Directors of Training and Project Managers through detailed project management practices
- Facilitate engaging live and virtual training sessions with strong platform and selling skills
- Provide train-the-trainer services, new hire training, and sustainment curriculum
- Manage training project plans including task management, escalation, risk identification, and interdependencies
- Onboard, develop, and coach field-based trainers and emerging sales rep leaders
- Support sales management teams at National, Sales, and POA meetings
- Travel 50% based on client training needs
The role requires continuous learning of new disease state materials, branded and unbranded content, and timely implementation of training initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Science
- Mandatory: Previous experience in a pharmaceutical training environment
- Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in a national sales training department with curriculum development and delivery experience
- 3+ years of experience as a successful pharmaceutical or medical equipment sales representative
- Preferred: Product launch or major new indication launch experience
- Preferred: 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry in sales or sales training
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Superb track record developing and executing successful training programs
- Highly computer literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Suite
- Preferred: Veeva or similar software, Learning Management Systems
- Working knowledge of sound instructional design and adult learning principles
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills
- Strategic and creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail
