Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers, bringing autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to military applications. The Senior Technical Program Manager for Mathematical Software and Algorithms will oversee the development, execution, and delivery of Battlespace Awareness software for critical defense programs. This role requires deep technical expertise in software development, particularly in optimization and estimation algorithms, combined with strong project management capabilities across multiple sub-teams and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: **Project Leadership & Strategy**: Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans covering feature development, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Establish clear objectives and deliverables aligned with program needs. **Technical Expertise**: Maintain deep understanding of underlying algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification. Ensure effective integration with the larger C2 system and stay current on latest techniques to incorporate innovations. **Release Management**: Oversee planning and execution of software release processes, ensuring smooth deployment and adherence to quality standards before release. **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as primary point of contact for all project-related communications internally and externally. Regularly update stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones through reports and presentations. **Resource Allocation**: Assess and allocate necessary personnel, software, and hardware resources. Monitor utilization and adjust to avoid bottlenecks. **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies with subject matter experts to minimize impact on timeline and deliverables. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work across divisions and departments to ensure software supports program priorities and meets integration requirements. Facilitate communication between Battlespace Awareness business line and other stakeholders. **Documentation & Process Improvement**: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including technical specifications and user manuals. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes. **REQUIREMENTS** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development - Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines - Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Familiarity with materiel leadership or mission partners within Army Air & Missile Defense, USMC Ground Based Air Defense, SOCOM, DHS CBP, or allied defense organizations - Working knowledge of counter-UAS and air surveillance competitive landscape - Experience developing mathematical software such as optimization solvers, estimation engines, simulation frameworks, or applied probability models
