Salary: USD 143,000 - 191,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for its Battlespace Awareness C2 Systems team. This role oversees the development, execution, and delivery of advanced battle management software for critical defense programs, ensuring alignment with technical, functional, and business requirements.
The Battlespace Awareness software comprises advanced algorithms for sense-making and decision-making at tactical timelines. You will serve as the linchpin connecting technical teams, stakeholders, and program objectives, requiring a strong background in software development—particularly optimization and estimation—combined with experience managing complex projects across multiple sub-teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans covering feature development, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring
- Establish clear objectives and deliverables aligned with program needs
- Maintain deep technical understanding of algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification
- Stay current on latest techniques and work with subject matter experts to incorporate innovations
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes
- Oversee planning and execution of software release processes, ensuring smooth deployment and quality standards
- Serve as primary point of contact for project communications internally and with external stakeholders
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones
- Assess and allocate resources (personnel, software, hardware) to support the project
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust to avoid bottlenecks
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies with subject matter experts
- Work cross-functionally across divisions to ensure software supports program priorities and integration requirements
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Battlespace Awareness business line and other stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development for advanced algorithms
- Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
- Transcripts required as part of early application process to assess academic background and technical/analytical abilities; unofficial transcripts acceptable with option to redact non-technical information
