Snowflake is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join its Services Delivery organization, which partners with enterprise customers across their data and AI transformation journeys. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical authority on complex, high-priority customer engagements, owning architecture decisions and driving measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading customer engagements as the senior technical voice, partnering with customer executives to define platform strategy and long-term roadmaps, and translating business problems into scalable technical solutions. You will architect and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions on Snowflake, establish MLOps practices and governance frameworks, and drive adoption of Snowflake's AI product suite (Cortex, Streamlit, Snowflake Intelligence). You'll also serve as the escalation point for technical challenges, mentor junior architects and consultants, and act as a bridge between Services Delivery, Go-to-Market, and product teams to influence product direction.
Required qualifications include a BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience, plus 8+ years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, data engineering, or senior customer-facing technical roles. You must have a demonstrated track record leading architecture decisions on large-scale enterprise data and AI platforms, deep hands-on experience implementing Snowflake in production (data modeling, performance tuning, security, governance), and expert-level understanding of the full data analytics stack from ETL through BI tooling. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python is essential, along with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
Bonus qualifications include hands-on generative AI and LLM production experience, Center of Excellence or architectural standards experience, background in technology product services organizations, cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Advanced), Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification, deep industry vertical expertise, and experience leading multi-team delivery programs.
