Snowflake is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to design and deploy enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions on the Snowflake platform. This role bridges technical depth with strategic impact, moving beyond tactical execution to shape how organizations operationalize AI at scale. You will architect robust, scalable AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake's native stack (Model Registry, Cortex Functions, Python) and partner ecosystems (Kubeflow, SageMaker, AWS/Azure/GCP). Key responsibilities include performing deep-dive root cause analysis on complex system dependencies, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Product teams to align technical roadmaps with customer ROI, and mentoring Level 3 architects on MLOps best practices. Technical focus areas span distributed systems (deconstructing failures in complex pipelines across cloud providers), predictive failure analysis (identifying model drift and data skew risks early), and governance (architecting data security and access controls for sensitive AI/ML training data). You'll guide customers through the complete data science lifecycle—feature engineering, model development, deployment, and management—while reducing post-deployment technical debt and driving regional success on complex implementations. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, seasoned expertise resolving wide-ranging technical issues creatively, and strong executive communication skills to present complex AI/ML concepts and ROI to both technical and business audiences. Bonus experience includes generative AI/LLMs, vector databases, Databricks/Apache Spark, ETL tools, data science roles, enterprise software success, and vertical expertise in FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, or similar domains.
