Pendulum Therapeutics is revolutionizing human health by restoring and enhancing the microbiome through proprietary probiotic pipelines and a unique discovery platform. The company has developed the world's first manufacturing technology to produce bacteria in anaerobic environments at scale, transforming consumer probiotics into therapeutic offerings with pharmaceutical efficacy and natural accessibility. Recently recognized on Forbes' "Next Billion Dollar Startups" list, Pendulum is experiencing explosive revenue and customer growth. As Senior Sourcing Manager for New Product Introduction, you will own the end-to-end sourcing workstreams that enable Pendulum's innovation pipeline from concept through commercial launch. You will serve as the primary sourcing partner to the Product team, which owns the overall product launch timeline. Key responsibilities include establishing the sourcing roadmap, owning raw material strategy, and driving supplier and raw material readiness across new product initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strategic sourcing expertise with demonstrated success in managing complex supply chains, strong project-management capabilities, and the ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure sourcing decisions align with commercial timelines and cost targets. This role requires both tactical execution (vendor qualification, contract negotiation, supply chain risk mitigation) and strategic thinking (long-term material roadmaps, supplier partnerships, innovation enablement). You will be instrumental in scaling Pendulum's sourcing operations as the company accelerates product launches.
