As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in shaping the systems powering Rockerbox's products. You'll partner closely with product managers to define requirements, design intuitive data endpoints, and deliver seamless integrations between backend services and user interfaces. This role involves building scalable, reliable solutions that enhance application performance and enable smarter data-driven experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product managers to define product requirements, deliver features, and ensure smooth integration of backend services with user interfaces
- Designing and developing scalable solutions that enhance application functionality, data efficiency, and overall system performance
- Architecting data endpoints using a semantic layer to transform source data into intuitive, optimized structures suitable for UI consumption
You bring 7+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated success building, owning, and maintaining production systems that prioritize reliability, scalability, and performance. You have strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience building and delivering analysis or dashboarding products. You're expert in SQL for data querying and database interactions, have exposure to React in professional or educational settings, and experience with orchestration, containerization, and Kubernetes for scalable deployments. You communicate effectively and can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
