As a Senior Software Engineer on the full-stack team, you will develop top-tier SaaS solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in government agencies. You will serve as a technical leader and navigator, taking ownership of complex architectural problems and leading the delivery of new full-stack features in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the team's technical lead, overseeing design, development, testing, and deployment of multi-tenant cloud-native solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and architectural bottlenecks with a proactive approach
- Lead the team's transition toward AI-native development, championing adoption of AI-driven tools and methodologies
- Quickly master new or existing codebases to provide immediate, high-quality contributions
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate business priorities into shipped features
- Represent the team's technical interests in stakeholder meetings and engineering forums
- Generate clean, efficient, well-documented software following industry best practices
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering continuous learning and innovation
- Cultivate deep customer empathy to ensure solutions exceed expectations of government agencies
The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership in a results-driven environment where impact matters more than process. You will work with modern technologies including ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and S3, building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience developing highly scalable cloud-native applications across the full stack (frontend and backend)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and S3 (required)
- Proficiency with event-driven architecture and API integration (required)
- Experience building applications on AWS using modern CI/CD and DevOps best practices
- Experience with modern observability tools such as Grafana for performance monitoring
- Experience building with AI-driven UX, agents, and workflow automation (direct ML experience not required)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and sometimes ambiguous environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to represent technical vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- BA/BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
