Allocate is building the operating system for private markets, serving 350+ advisory firms and managing $5B+ in assets. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own features end-to-end across the entire stack: from Postgres schema design and C#/.NET APIs through Vue.js and TypeScript frontends that wealth advisors and their clients use daily to discover, transact in, and manage private market investments.
You will work in a small, autonomous cross-functional squad with real ownership over product direction and technical implementation. The role spans frontend development (building rich, simple UX in Vue.js), backend API design and implementation in C#/.NET, database schema design with performance optimization, and full-stack feature delivery in an Agile environment.
Allocate is an AI-first engineering organization. You will use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a core part of your daily workflow, treating them as primary development partners rather than occasional assists. You own every line of code that ships, review AI-generated work with the same rigor as peer code, and maintain accountability for correctness, security, and maintainability. The expectation is that you continuously evaluate emerging agentic workflows and bring effective patterns back to the broader engineering team.
Success means shipping production features spanning schema, API, and UI within 90 days without handoffs; delivering correct, stable, security-compliant code on the first pass; operating autonomously to scope and drive ambiguous problems to shipped outcomes; and measurably raising the team's AI-assisted development bar with faster cycle times and repeatable patterns.
Required: 5–10 years building web applications with 5+ years OOP (C#, Java, or similar); 3+ years C# and 2+ years REST API development; 3+ years Vue.js and 1+ years TypeScript; 5+ years SQL databases (Postgres preferred) with schema design expertise; track record of correct, stable, security-compliant frontend software; real production experience shipping code with AI agents; basic AWS knowledge (S3, CloudFront, ECS/EKS); Git proficiency; autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset; Bachelor's in CS or equivalent.
Nice to have: ASP.NET Web API, ORM experience (Dapper, Entity Framework, FluentMigrator), agentic workflows, Docker/Docker Compose, CI pipelines, DevOps (Terraform, AWS, ECS/EKS).
