DoubleVerify is a NYSE-listed big data analytics company founded in Israel that processes over 100 billion ad events daily at massive scale. The company verifies ad fraud, ensures appropriate content placement, validates geographic targeting, and measures viewability and user engagement across the ad lifecycle for the world's largest brands.
You will join an experienced engineering team developing innovative Classification products. In this role, you will lead projects by architecting, designing, and implementing solutions that impact core system components. You'll develop new features leveraging a cloud-native technology stack, continuously improve development processes by adopting new technologies, and raise code quality standards across the organization.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production experience with industry-standard languages (Scala, Java, Rust, Kotlin, Go, etc.) and deep understanding of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, functional programming, data structures, multi-threading, and distributed systems. You should have hands-on experience with in-memory distributed caches (Aerospike, Redis), messaging systems (Apache Kafka), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture design.
Required technical expertise includes SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar/NoSQL databases (BigQuery, Vertica, Snowflake, Couchbase, Cassandra), and big data environments with stream processing technologies (Akka Streams, Kafka Streams, Spark, Flink). Cloud provider experience with GCP or AWS is essential. You should be proficient with Agile development, CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, Jenkins), and automated testing practices. A BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Previous experience with online advertising technologies and familiarity with cloud-native computing foundation are valued. The role is hybrid-based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with R&D centers globally including New York, Finland, Berlin, Belgium, and San Diego.
