AlertMedia is a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS company offering a Risk Intelligence and Response platform trusted by over 4,000 clients globally. The platform helps organizations detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence by unifying critical information and workflows.
You will join the AI Agent and Orchestration team, building AI Assistant and Orchestration products along with the agents and platform capabilities that power them. AlertMedia actively uses modern AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and other emerging technologies to help engineers work smarter and faster.
In this role, you will:
- Build and ship features for AI Assistant and Orchestration products, including agents, tools, and approval workflows
- Add evaluation cases for AI behavior to catch quality degradation before release
- Learn the AlertMedia platform and its applications for customers
- Work across the full stack with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and other web technologies
- Leverage AI-enabled development tools to support development, problem-solving, and productivity
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
- Contribute to AlertMedia's technological leadership through innovative development and new ideas
- Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams
- Help shape the company's culture, values, and vision
You thrive in collaborative engineering environments and are willing to work across the entire stack. You care deeply about code quality, impactful products, and the teams you build with. You have hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features and understand how LLM applications work—context, tool calling, evaluation, and failure modes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications with Python/Django/React/Node tech stack preferred
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features: agents, tool/function calling, MCP or similar integrations, retrieval, prompt and model evaluation
- Familiarity with agentic design patterns and frameworks (Strands, AutoGen, LangChain, etc.)
- Required: Amazon Web Services (or other cloud services) experience
- Required: PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies experience
- Established practice of writing unit and integration tests
- Proficiency using AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar) across the development lifecycle
- Collaborative mindset to partner with principal engineers and leadership on architectural evolution
- Experience troubleshooting and remediating production issues
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple parallel projects
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong English proficiency (written and oral) required
