Salary: USD 158,000 - 197,000 / annual

You will join Addepar's data and intelligence initiatives as a Senior Software Engineer building a Data Analytics Platform that enables teams to make data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities include: • Build and scale a comprehensive analytics platform, formalizing and optimizing data analytics across teams • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and architect solutions for sophisticated data and workflow challenges • Leverage core Addepar systems like the Data Lakehouse to advise and strategize Ops and Data Governance infrastructure • Simplify processes by promoting strategic data architecture and optimized workflows You bring 5+ years of relevant experience demonstrating proficiency in platform development, particularly enabling data engineering outcomes. Core requirements include: • Strong proficiency in Java or Python • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud infrastructure for data analytics workloads • Strong expertise in CI/CD for data engineering pipelines—building, automating, and optimizing the pipeline lifecycle • Skilled in monitoring and observability tools (FiddlerAI, Datadog, Grafana) to track system performance and health • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) • Collaborative, low-ego problem-solver who takes ownership and delivers results Bonus qualifications include experience with large-scale datasets and high-velocity data streams, familiarity with the financial domain, and PySpark/Databricks experience or willingness to cross-train.
