As a Senior Security Engineer, you will own complex, end-to-end security challenges across Coupa's enterprise, product, platform, and customer data. Your responsibilities include:
• Building and implementing cloud security controls that scale across the organization
• Setting technical engineering standards for security remediation and automation
• Partnering closely with Engineering, IT, and Compliance teams to ship durable, automated security tooling
• Moving beyond one-off fixes to establish systematic, long-term solutions
• Conducting root-cause analysis on security findings and driving comprehensive remediation strategies
• Serving as a go-to technical resource for other engineers on complex security problems
• Establishing best practices and mentoring the broader engineering team on security principles
You will be a senior individual contributor who sets the technical direction for how the security team approaches problems. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security, infrastructure security, and secure software development practices. You'll work in a collaborative environment that values transparency, openness, and a shared commitment to excellence, with your work having measurable global impact on clients and the business.
