G2, the world's largest software marketplace (recently merged with Capterra, SoftwareAdvice, and GetApp), is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer based in Bengaluru to serve as the primary technical partner for sales and revenue-facing business stakeholders.
This is a high-autonomy, high-ownership hybrid role where you will operate as engineer, analyst, architect, and delivery owner. You will partner directly with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Accounting teams (including US-based stakeholders across time zones) to understand their goals, OKRs, and process friction, then translate these into technical solutions without a PM or BSA intermediary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full delivery lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing iteration
- Building and maintaining solutions across G2's revenue tech stack, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ), Gong, ZoomInfo, and Slack
- Developing within Salesforce using both declarative configuration and custom code—writing Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Designing and deploying AI-powered GTM workflows leveraging Claude Code, Dust, and native AI capabilities to automate lead routing, pipeline hygiene, and revenue recognition
- Maintaining reliability, performance, and governance of owned systems, including documentation, change management, and proactive monitoring
You will see direct impact of your work on revenue teams depending on your solutions daily, and are expected to bring both technical depth and business judgment to the role.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience in a Salesforce-centric technical role with demonstrated end-to-end solution delivery ownership
- Salesforce development proficiency: Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and platform configuration (flows, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ including quote configuration, pricing rules, approval workflows, and order management
- Experience working directly with Sales and Marketing business stakeholders—comfortable running discovery conversations, scoping solutions, and managing delivery expectations without a PM layer
- Familiarity with one or more tools in the revenue tech ecosystem: Gong, ZoomInfo, or comparable GTM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to operate without a PM or QA function: write your own test cases, own your own deployments, catch your own bugs
- Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows and genuine curiosity about applying LLMs and AI agents to Sales and Marketing operations
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate effectively across time zones with US-based stakeholders and explain technical decisions to non-technical business partners
- Must be based in Bangalore, India or within commutable distance to the Bangalore office
STAND-OUT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, named credentials)
- Exposure to AI workflow automation tools (Claude Code, Dust, n8n, or similar)
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist, Administrator, Advanced Administrator)
- Prior experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations in a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience working in a global team with cross-timezone collaboration, particularly with North America-based stakeholders
