As a Senior Quantum Researcher at Qedma, you will lead the development of algorithmic and error-reduction tools that enable partners and customers to achieve quantum advantage in their applications. Your primary responsibilities include designing and implementing Qedma's error reduction methods—encompassing both mitigation and correction techniques—and applying them across diverse use cases. You will optimize existing error-reduction methods, develop novel algorithms, and adapt these tools to the practical constraints of real quantum hardware. This work requires deep understanding of application requirements, noise characteristics, device constraints, and real-world quantum device performance. You will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum computing advances and practical implementation, ensuring that error-reduction strategies deliver measurable improvements on actual quantum systems. The role combines research rigor with engineering pragmatism: you'll need to evaluate trade-offs between algorithmic sophistication and hardware feasibility, validate approaches on real quantum devices, and iterate based on empirical results. This is a hands-on technical position for someone with strong quantum computing fundamentals and experience translating research into production-ready solutions.
